My booking process is simple for a studio maternity photos session. I will guide you in preparing for your session, offering full access to my stunning maternity clothing photography wardrobe.
Preparing for your Studio Maternity Photography Session
I recommend booking maternity photos around 32-34 weeks into your pregnancy. This way, you'll show off the gorgeousness of your baby belly without the possibility of your baby making an unexpected early appearance.
Before your studio pregnancy photoshoot, we'll talk over the phone and discuss your ideas and expectations and go through any maternity picture ideas you may have. Together we will plan the style and feel for the photos before your pregnancy photography session based on what we discussed during the initial consultation.
Your maternity photography questions answered
Do you have maternity gowns I can wear?
Absolutely! My client wardrobe has gowns in lots of sizes and styles, so there's something to flatter every bump and body shape. You're welcome to bring your own outfit if you have a favourite, but there's no need to buy anything. Just turn up and choose from the wardrobe on the day.
Can my partner and kids be in the photos?
Yes, and I recommend it. Partners and children are welcome at no extra cost.
How long does the session take?
About an hour to an hour and a half, depending on the style of your session.
When will I get my photos?
Your proof gallery arrives within 24 hours so you can choose your favourites. Your final edited images arrive in around two weeks.
Do you do outdoor maternity sessions?
Yes. For outdoor sessions I pick the best day and time for light, and we reschedule if the weather doesn't cooperate.
A $200 non-refundable booking deposit is required to secure your maternity photography session.
